Mark,
Great job really nice. I have been doing the same thing on a 1972 150L Commuter. Have to finish painting the wings this spring.
I have to ask where did you get the panel and circuit breakers and new switches.
Greg

Greg
All the switches and cb’s were from a good friend who is an Avonics guy. We even rebuilt the main buss bar behind the panel. Also added new wiring. I built the black panel had it power coated and attached the stickers and covered with clear coat paint. I have another panel that is being silk screened to replace the cover on now for a little nicer look.
I was really happy how it turned out.
Thanks again. I am deciding on whether to paint the outside or not.

Mark,
Really nice job. Thanks for the Ideal, wanted to do something with mine it nice to see one already done. I'm a plant electrician by trade with a son who is a A/P. This is a real blessing. I will post pics when I get finished.

Brought the price down to 39,500. Mark
Posted By: Jim C Re: 1973 Cessna 150L - 04/29/19 10:34 PM
39,5? for a Cessna 150? Granted that seems like a nice one, but I think that asking number would steer me away.

Maybe I shoulda asked a lot more for mine!!! wink

Mark,

Have you tried running a Vref valuation? The price might not be exact, but it will give you an idea of the ballpark. Many people will run a Vref on a plane to come up with an offer. Your plane might be much better than average and you can explain that when discussing the price.

You need an AOPA membership. You can then go to https://m.aopa.org/members/vref/default.cfm

My 150 again for sale. Asking 36000 to club members or someone wanting to join. Mark 602-920-6737. Pictures in craigslist in Phoenix, AZ.

According to Vref, that is about the price for a plane like yours, new paint and interior, Appareo ESGi transponder (ADSB In and Out) and a digital fuel flow meter. Hopefully it will sell soon. Good luck!

Pictures would help. Do you have another Craigslist link? The other one doesn't work anymore.

Agreed. That engine compartment is so clean, it looks like a satellite sitting in a clean room before heading to space.

That’s a really, really nice airplane!

Sorry, 36000 was a miss print, I just found out about it. Sale price is 39000. Sorry. Why can’t you transfer a membership?

Because it’s not the plane with lifetime membership, it’s the person.

Second, a ‘lifetime’ membership is for the life of that member. It’s not called a ‘perpetual’ or ‘infinite’ membership.

Beautiful airplane and beautifully equipped. I wonder what the empty weight is?
