Lessee, If I bought the carbon fiber and shipped it to him, would he make a set out of it?
Vacuum-bagged with a core material would be a plus!

Didn't I read somewhere in the FARs that illegal parts are only illegal until they've been painted to match originals? And that rule only applies to parts that can be seen.
Too bad you'd have to paint them. I like the look of carbon fiber.
Really, would it be that difficult to have them approved? It's not like you're fabricating your own wing spar.
