Am looking at what is advertised as a '78 152 II. However, it appears from the paint and features that it could be an '80 model. It has a split cowl and double landing lights. Were these features available in '78?
The serial number plate is obscured, so it's no help. The FAA database shows it as a '78 model but the serial number indicates a 1980 manufacture date, (as I understand the Cessna serial number system - 15280XXXX ).
