I am looking at a lot of planes and find it hard to evaluate whether the asking price is close to reality. The prices seem quite inflated compared to the prices mentioned in the conversations here. As well, the avionics are a mystery to me. Lot's to learn.
There aren't as many C150's for sale in Canada, but buying a used plane in the USA from Canada might be a hassle and expensive as our Dept of Trans doesn't recognize 337 forms and all 337 mods have to be removed or inspected ($$$).
It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, but sometimes less fun is good.

thanks for the link, it's the first time I've seen it; it doesn't cross over the great canadian divide. I've looked in COPA's trade a plane and did some google searches but in English it seems to hit 9/10 provinces. There are a few not too far from Quebec City. I may need your help on a few words, as we tend to use English terms here, as you know if you visit!
