Our 150/152 planes can wear out not only from abuse, but from non-use too. I would want to have a boroscope look into the cylinders and I bet there is excessive corrosion in them. Now if it was stored in the "mothball" type mode with oil filling the pistons and dry air circulating around the plane, maybe it won't be too bad. $75,000 is a lot of money. I don't think you could keep that value in it. my 2cents
