Gents, seeking more info on this unit for possible purchase...

I saw Charlie's when he came to visit up in Carlisle - very impressive for the price!

Gents, or ladies....have any of you used it with the IFR approach plates for "back up" on IFR type flights?

-Can you actually read the approach plate? (seems small to me)

-Does the icon for the plane representing your position actually show on the approach plate? In other words, could you "fly" the approach? (using this as a backup to your panel)
