New Covers Arrived - Just in time for "Stormaggedon"
Folks, thanks for all the great advice and comments on selecting covers for the wings, horizontal stab, cowl cover, cockpit cover, fuselage cover, and prop and spinner; all on JUST IN TIME for the huge storms! AJ is snug in her spot with all her winter blankets!
Got it all from airplanecovers.com - they were pretty fast, too.
They are working great; for the first time in a long time, NO WATER in the cockpit after a heavy, windy rain storm! Also makes life easier when I want to fly in the morning with all the frost on the wings, and with the cowl cover and prop/spinner cover, makes pre-heating go a lot faster.
It is an investment, but I think it's worth it since I can't have a hanger! The plane looks like it's in a cacoon or something! MM
