Dog sled ... it's in my igloo right now, all I have to do it lash it down on the sled with strips of caribou hide and off we go!
I can ship it FedEx or UPS, air or ground, and I'm sure the USPS would take it, but I have never shipped anything this big via USPS.
Ground isn't a bad option, because it is cheaper than air, and both FedEx and UPS will ship it out of here via air freight, because it is cheaper for them. They'll get it to a sorting facility close to you (Oakland?) and then put it on a ground truck.
I just shipped a prop to another club member and have another one to ship out next week. It's no big deal.
