I do know there are substantial costs associated with bringing an aircraft into Canada. But even adding $5,000 to $10,000 to the price of a good $20,000 US plane beats the heck out of what I have seen for $25,000 to $30,000 around here.
I live so close to the border that a lot of planes for sale in the north east US are quite close
Also, there is just so much more choice
