Terry! Wow! My lay off wasn't quite that long, but its great to hear your story. I think its important to do all we can to keep GA alive. I remember when I was a kid going to the municipal airport on the weekends just to watch the airplanes land and a take off and there were always 3 or 4 (mostly 150/152s in the pattern). Now, when I go back home there is rarely any GA aircraft doing training.
I hope to fully rehabilitate my flying skills soon. When I have some pictures, I'll be sure to post!
