Yeh, I know but unfortunately that was the way Cessna designed the thing.

I did the tail wheel mod with the intent to offer basic aeros and tail wheel training and figured the more simple I could keep it the cheaper it would be, and basic aerobatics are more about airplane handling and energy management...at least that is one way to look at it.

I used to own a 150/150 with the Horton STOL kit on Edo 1600 floats that I used in my school, it was a fair performer but payed a penalty with useful load and range due to fuel burn.

Then again I am aware that aviation is not an exact science and I'll be the first to admit I have lots to learn about how these things fly.

Anyhow the thing is for sale and hopefully someone will want it as is with the 100 hp in it.
