As my wife and I were cruising along at 63 knots ground speed yesterday, I asked her if she could do that for 8 hours.
She said, "If you want to do it, I will." Not sure I want to punish her that much. She is sweet at times and generally easy to get along with.
In my book, I rather fly 8 hrs than drive 8 hrs.
Shortly after I bought my C150 last year, I flew from South FL to New Orleans. It took me 11 hrs including fuel and food stops. I did it thinking that I would get sick of it really quickly. But , nah. I would do it as often as I can. That's why, over the thanksgiving weekend, I flew 32 hrs and visited 7 states.
Can't wait till July to do it again!
