Thank you so much for your reply an the warm welcome. I check Barnstormers, Controller, Tradeaplane, Kijiji and Craigslist on a daily basis! Planeboard is a new one for me so I'll add it to the daily list..... I've just messaged the owner of the plane you mentioned, it does look good and has the virtue of being an even simpler aircraft than the later ones. Good upgrades too. It is the other side of the the big rocks so that might be a challenge for a 150hour newbe😧
As far as importing to Canada it can be tricky if the plane has any form 337 mods, these are not approved and have to be removed😡 I know of somebody who bought a Cherokee and spent as much again getting it legal........
