I did 1900 miles of driving in 51 hours to bring the 140 to Tucson. It had been on its way home from Black Rock Municipal Airport (Burning Man) when the incident occurred. Minimal damage in the ground “adventure” and Dennis at Plain Parts did an expert job disassembling it to transport to his shop. Kenny Faeth had a replacement right gear leg for me. Since I didn’t have loading help and was on a short timeline that wouldn’t let me wait on Dennis to be available, I used a floor jack and cribbing to replace the broken leg and maneuver it on my trailer. The gear legs are sitting on skids I made by rubbing a bar of soap to lubricate a couple of 2x4 scraps.
