Arkansas has a lot of turkey farms, maybe the most of any state. The birds will scatter and run with disastrous results if a hawk, owl or airplane passes overhead. Turkey farmers don’t like airplanes because they lose too many stupid birds. Turkeys have disturbing nightmares when their parents tell them stories about being dropped from a Cessna during Ozark Mountain Mardi Gras or the WKRP fiasco in Cincinnati.
