I sent my Mk12D back to Narco, whined real loud and they gave me a loaner, then shipped back my unit upgrade to a "plus", and it was only like $1200.
Do you mean you don't have a box at all (as in the shop lost or stole it?) or it's just broke. In my case, they evaluated it and it was going to cost $800 to fix it, so I went with the upgrade and a fresh 1 year warranty.
No complaints.
