I've tried the grounds and the bulbs- it flashes, just real weak and every couple of odd seconds. The right wing is fine, real solid and too bright to even look at.
Considering the cost of some of the other things I've had to do lately, $100 isnt too terrible. So far, two oil changes and a shimmy damper fix. Not too bad for 60 hrs worth of rental I guess. Got two high school kids training in it and one young lady about college age or so has just started. One of the kids is doing his cross country night flight into class C soon so I wanted to get the strobes right.
