Was it shipped insured? It may have been damaged in transit! I was re-imbursed by UPS for a satelite receiver that was sold as "working", but was DOA! I suspected a scam, but I got my money back anyway!
Perhaps what we really have here is an insurance claim (you can work together on that!)
