Now after looking at various pictures of 150's with various wheel pants this evening, Justina has decided that she now wants the new style which are supposed to go on to Mr. Ed. We have found a pair of mains that we can acquire. But we will require a nose pant, P/N 0543079-1. Or, from a 1975 or later. Anybody out there have one lying around collecting dust? And it looks like we will be selling the pre 1969 set pictured at the beginning of this thread.............
Well, at least we have answered the question of what wheel pants will fit what. So we did get that much acomplished! Do we dare say it?? Jeff was mostly right?? Most of the pants are interchangable....................... | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 5,975 Member/5000+posts! | Member/5000+posts! Thank you so very much for the offer and the other assistance, Brian! | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 2,525 Member/2500+posts | Member/2500+posts Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 2,525 | Bill. are you keeping your eye out on ebay? Here is my opportuning to test my new found knowledge of what wheel pants fit what. Both of these different wheel pants brackets are now on eBay. The 1970 and earlier brackets [ cgi.ebay.com] look like these. The 1974 and later brackets [ cgi.ebay.com] look like these. Now what is missing are the 1971-1973 brackets. They look like the 1970 and earlier brackets but with that notch cut out of the center as seen on the 1974 and later brackets. So, you can see where just by cutting out that notch, the older brackets can be made to fit the 1971-1973 pants. Or the 1971-1973 brackets will fit all previous pants. The 1974 and newer brackets only fit the 1974 and newer wheel pants. How did I do? | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 38 Member | Member Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 38 | Guys,

G'day,
Assuming Brian does not have a set for you, I think you should bid on both sets, one for your aircraft now with the new style, and the other for the set of wheel pants you have to sell off, you might find there worth more to sell with brackets than without - maybe
Just a thought
Cheers
