Actually my wife and I have to kind of laugh at it all. We're Cessna owners and from a "Cessna family" on both sides. (Okay, my brother owns a Luscombe...)
And here we are buying a Cherokee!
It's one of those "Ford - Cehvy" things I think.

Nah it looks like a good airplane for you. I am still partial to Cessna, but a cherokee thrown in every once in a while is ok!
