I've not seen them on a 66 before, on the "G" I had were the same as in the ones shown by Mark, although I have seen that more curvasious shape (like mine) on an "H" model of a friend of mine, which he has had since basically new....yeah I know, he's owned it a while.

My "K" model, which is an Aerobat Serial No. 185, has the same ones fitted, and as far as I can tell, they are the originals from when the aircraft arrived here in Oz in 1970.

If you really want to know Dan, the wheel pants on Birdie now are off a 1969 to a 1970 150. Just as you say. Here is your plane with the pants.

The only noticeable difference is that the older pant is flat across the bottom where the ones you have are "cut-out" making access to the valve stem a whole lot easier.
