Take the LSA Repairman course (16 hours) and you can do all the maintenance yourself. However, once it has been certified, you can modify it anyway you want. Read the posts in the RV-12 VAF Forum [ vansairforce.com] about all the mods people have made or plan to make to their RV-12s. P.S. S-LSAs (Special LSAs) are aircraft built by the manufacturers. The ones built by amateur builders (based on the S-LSAs) are called E-LSA (Experimental LSAs). | | |
