These were purchased from Tennessee Wings. By the way, the toolbox is not for sale grin

The control wheel in the picture is from a 1947 Funk - it's the last surviving piece of the airplane I learned to fly in.

There is a little story behind the control wheel. I was 17 at the time and 10 of us bought this Funk for flight training. Each coughed up 210 bucks. All other fellas were OLD men of late 20's and thirty something. It was a poor trainer do to it would just mush in the stalls. Floated on landings. The instructor hated it so I finished in a Cherokee of his. He charged me 12 bucks per hour with him and the plane. Plus he had two great looking daughters that were my age so I didn't mind a 50 mile drive to his airport. Earlier this summer on ebay was a Funk for sale in Delaware. Checking the FAA registry wondering if it was the clubs old Funk. Called the number listed in the add and it was not the plane but he had bought N77707 years ago for salvage. Had only the control wheel left of it and he mailed it to me. Got it a few weeks ago. It will go front and center in my cirio cabinet. Wishing I had bought the Funk he had for sale but the drive to Delaware in gas would be costly so regretfully I passed it up. Sorry now.
