It was pointed out to me the first year I went to Clinton, (and the last time I had the wheel pants on) that my front wheel pant is not the correct one to match my mains. I should have known this as I knew that the pant was from a 152, but didn't realize that there was a difference in styles between years.

I know of a wheel pant from a 1976 model that is for sale. Would it be the same style as my mains? Picture attached.

No. As shown in the 1976 brochure, the wheel pants for that year look like those on a 152.

As cool as those look, WHO CARES?

You already don't have the original paint scheme, so you're not "stock" anyhow. If you're going to have fairings on, those look as good as anything anyone will ever see.

The main wheel fairings that are installed on your plane are the 1971-73 type. 1974 and up are all the same.

I think the wheel pants you have on are sweet.

I guess they are collectively suggesting you keep your pants on, Bruce smile

Believe me, NOBODY wants to see me with my pants off. grin

Thanks for all the positive comments. Guess I'll keep the ones I've got.
