I recently purchased a 1965 Cessna 182H. I needed the extra speed and useful load of the 182. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to fly two planes so I must sell my beloved 172. I've had it since 2011 and have greatly enjoyed flying it. I thought someone hear might be considering upgrading to a 152XL!

I'm asking $24,000, a little below the AOPA Vref when you add in an engine analyzer and a recent interior. Vref only lists a JPI 700 engine analyzer. The UBG-16 is EI's equivalent. The paint is still good, but could use a good buffing.

The plane is based at Lago Vista, Texas - KRYW. PM me if interested.

I have a flyer with the information below. I uploaded it, but somehow the connection gets broken every time I click on the link.

AFTT: 3532
SMOH: 1607
Plane is still being flown, so these times may change
Last annual: February 2017, last IFR altimeter and transponder check: August 2016

Painted in November 2010 and the interior was put in August 2013 (less than 200 hours since interior install)

Avionics:
  • ICOM A200 Communication Radio
  • Val Avionics INS-429 Navigation Radio
  • King KMA20 Audio Panel
  • PS Engineering PM3000 4-place intercom
  • EI UBG-16 6-cylinder engine analyzer with RPM, Data and Fuel Flow modules
  • King KT-76 TSO Transponder
  • Artex ME406 406MHz ELT

Other features:
  • Clear glass
  • Horton STOL kit – very docile slow speed flight
  • Spin-on oil filter
  • Vertical Card Compass PAI-700
  • Whelen HRCFA strobe installed during last annual to replace old rotating beacon
  • Auto gas STC
  • Rosen sun visors
  • Nulite instrument illumination lights
  • Three cigarette lighter sockets to power portable devices
  • External antenna for handheld radio

I was able to scan the logbooks. Here is a link to my Dropbox [dropbox.com] where the logbooks are, along with some additional pictures.

I want to add my wish for good luck for a quick sale, Henry. You have a very nice 172. If I could somehow justify a need, I would be giving you a call!

Thanks, Stacey! A sale is now pending. We're just finalizing the paperwork. It should be gone within the week. It is a nice plane. If I had more time to fly, I'd keep it.

Congrats Henry......now 100% of your time can be directed at the 182.
