Chris. Need your contact info. I have someone interested but no way to contact you in profile.

I'll try a PM as well.

EDIT - Scratch that - he found you on FB and I believe you are talking.

After years away from the flying scene, Im interested in purchasing a 150. My granddaughter is showing an interest in learning to fly. Could you please let me know where you and plane are located?
I divide my time between Tampa, FL. And St. Louis, MO.

Sorry I have been on the site for quite some time. Yes the plane is still available. We are very motivated to sell. Asking price is $40,000 and is negotiable.

Plane is hangared in Warsaw, VA.

Thanks!

Chris

Just curious, but...

Was this the 150 that (many years ago) flew into the Washington DC SFRA and FRZ and caused the POTUS to take cover?

Looks surprisingly like the aircraft that struck FEAR into the heart of the national security apparatus!

I don't know if that's the plane, but that incident generated this sticker. I think a Club member created that bumper sticker and later on got a Cease & Desist letter from Cessna legal team.

The aircraft was a member of The Keystone Flight here and flew with us often.... running joke that if left to its own devices, it would turn towards the FRZ like a homing pigeon! Ha ha!

I'll go look up the tail number as it was sold off from the Smoketown Airport about 10 years ago!

The FEAR THIS story would come up just about everywhere we flew to eat as the aircraft had reached celebrity status in our region!

Did some checking....

N5826G is a specific 1969 Cessna 150K (Serial #15071326) known for being part of the Vintage Aero Club, based near Lancaster, PA, and famously involved in unintentional airspace incursions into Washington D.C. prohibited zones in 2005 and 2009 due to student pilots getting lost, highlighting the reliable but simple nature of the popular trainer aircraft.

Later, our buddy Eldon, pictured here on a Keystone Flight to go eat, piloted this aircraft for years before it transferred off the aerodrome, S37, Smoketown Airport!
