Patrick,, whatever you do I wouldn't concern myself to much about the ebay scams, I've bought and sold a lot of things on ebay and haven't had any problems. I've purchased instruments, hardware, software ect with no problems. The items I've sold have been anywheres from used instruments to avionic stuff. So list away,, but as an added precaution which I never thought about, I believe Carl posted to seal the screws up somehow,, that's a great idea and from now on I'll be doing that. To me if anything, the biggest scams are on shipping costs,, but asking in advance takes care of most of that,,,
