Like I said, you work a lot faster than I do. How about the nose wheel pant? How long does it take you to R&R it?

Some of the newer wheel pants just have a hole where you can locate the valve stem for refilling. Why not just modify your older pants the same way? Say maybe, 1.5 inches? Or notch out the bottom of the pants? I think I will wander out to the airport tomorrow and see just how feasable that may be before I get around to installing the pants.
