I'm getting an older Mooney M20C. It has the same engine as a 172, but can do 145 knts or more on 9 gph--better with a few speed mods. It's a four seater that can carry four folks, but not really four adults. It's narrow like a 150, but more leg room as the pedals are way up front under the panel.
With all the x-country I'm doing now, I just can't spend entire days flying
