I've flip-flopped on this decision countless times. But with no luck finding a good used engine, it's time to sell as-is, take a bit of a financial beating, and move on. I do look forward to owning a share of a plane and pursuing an instrument rating.
Hope you all will let me hang around the forum and attend to a fly in or two. I know....172s need to be parked out back at 150/152 events.
