BTW -- I left a message for the guy in Santa Paula, CA, who has the 16-year-old, never been used, still in the box McCauley 1A101/DCM 6948 (no log book, no guarantees). I offered him a take-it-or-leave-it price of $2,000 (he's asking $2,750). My mechanic would still want the prop sent to a prop shop and checked. I would drive to Santa Paula, CA if the guy calls back and says yes.

If I don't find something by COB Friday, June 13, I'll probably just say the heck with it and buy a new one.
