I'd not finished correcting the attachments before Paul had entered his post and another member had sent me a private message.

I got the condition inspection for N8526J in February. I told Bill and Ken at Lake Aviation in Camdenton that although it was for sale, I wanted it in tip-top shape because I would continue to fly it. They took me at my word and did more than $2,400 repairs and improvements on it. That does not include the nearly $1,000 for the annual itself (the most I've ever paid.) They put in new brake lines (the rubber parts), new fuel line, new oil line, rebuilt the muffler, put on a new exhaust pipe, brake pads, and wheel bearings.
