I just got my cabin cover from
www.airplane-covers.com [
airplane-covers.com] too! I still haven't had a chance to go to the airport to put it on but it looks nice workmanship. A lot less expensive than some of the other covers, too. I'll post a picture when I put it on.
No issues with freezing where I live. I just hope the material lasts more than a couple of years in the harsh Texas sun. I got the sunbrella material since it is supposed to last a little longer.
If you ask nicely they'll throw in embroidering one N number. There's also a code to get a 10% discount that they put on a little postcard with the shipment. I don't have it with me, but I'll pass it along to anyone interested.
Henry,
Looking forward to your photos...
I was in Abiline, TX for a few years...we had very bad hail out there...scariest part of owning a car or plane!
I considered the "hail resistant" covers another place was offering - they were padded by about 1/4 inch or so...enough to combat the small stuff, but not the big hits. Is this a problem in your part of Texas?
If I move back there, I would HAVE to have a shade hanger, at least! MM
