I benignly advertised my rental house slightly below market value and had lots of phone calls but no lookers. I jacked the price up another $250/month and started telling callers I already had an interested renter, but would still show the house just in case they didn't take it. The second caller after that looked and took the house on the spot! smile

Well Carl, That line is the quickest way to turn me away. The first time a seller says that I need to hurry because there is another buyer interested, that is the end of the deal. I will not play the game.

The same for when I sell. I will offer the item at a fair price. If the first question is "will I consider a lower price?" before even asking about the items. The item has been already sold. I play fair as a seller and I demand to be treated the same as a buyer.
