Spinner is wrong. TOO BIG..as you pointed out its covering the cooling vents. 71 and later DO NOT HAVE THEM.
Not originally...but you can install the bigger spinner as a replacement ( WEU)
Attached is a photo of a 1970 Aerobat that was posted recently in another thread.
You can see it's in stock config.- flat gear, metal cowl, small dorsal and wing landing light. Note is has the larger "replacement" spinner covering the oil holes in the photo.
Another thing I noticed about the Craigslist photo is the mirror mount is clearly still on the dash which is correct, the mirror being in the eyebrow panel starting in 1973.
