Just got a call from my AI. He talked to one of two over-haulers for the O-200 and said $8,000 - $10,000 and that does not include anything else - not even the shaft - which is $5,000 new. AI would take 12 hours to do, but would compensate back some in time not charged. Which I thought was nice. Waiting for the other over-hauler to call him back.
We talked about things a good bit after that and I have come to the decision to "Sell As-Is Where Is" if the other estimate is close to this one.
We will probably fire it up, see what else works or doesn't work on the panel side and I will post my results here for others here to get first opportunity. The interior is very nice, all as updated in 2006 with new class and Plane-Plastic on most everything, and new carpet.
It still has 320 hours on it before TBO, so if sold to the right person who can work on it, it would be a great little bird once again.
