The problem we are finding is that when we find a salvage rudder it either has the same damage at the top hinge as ours or appears worn by the bush running through the bearing in the tail.
I'm going to attempt to attach 2 pictures here.
The first is the damage to the top hinge (it boken through) on ours
The second and third is the same top hinge on another salvage part we have found.

Could you supply any pictures of your rudder at the top?

Hi Nick,
I'm on my way out to the airport now. It's only about 5 minutes away. The damage to my rudder (which is repairable) was on the bottom where bellcrank channel attaches. I'll try to get some close-up pictures for you.
