I've got an extra pair but one of them is missing the rollers and the tabs are damaged. Both are in need of new upholstery.
I requested a quote for repair from Aviation Fabricators and was blown away by the response.
The base evaluation fee is $625
Measuring the seat to make sure it complies with the AD and issuing approval - $775
If any of the tangs need to be squeezed together to close the gap - $875 to $1075
If any of the roller housings need replacement, it's between $820 and $995 each depending on which one. This is on top of the base fee above.
Replacing all four roller housings - an additional $2856
I think I'm going to become a seat hoarder. I mean, well, I already am with four sets sitting in my storage container and only two 150 projects needing them seats but I think it's time to invest in more of them!
