According to the Type Certificate Data Sheet E-252, the Maximum RPM, at Sea Level, for the Continental 0-200-A, -B, & -C is 2750.

According to Type Certificate 3A19, the Engine Limit, for all operations, on all models of the Cessna 150, is also 2750 R.P.M. That limit must also be placarded in the cockpit.
