Do a search in this forum on "Sparrowhawk" and you'll find a whole evening's worth of reading on the pros and cons of the STC'd 125HP conversion ... and even Lycoming's letter that casts doubt on the wisdom. I'm not 100% convinced in my own mind, but if I could get this engine with the extra HP, install it this weekend and forget about my high time engine issues and get it for less than $10k I might be persuaded.

After all, do I want to fly a 2000 hour engine from Alaska to Clinton this summer or a sporty 125HP engine that is barely broken in?

(btw ... I already have the sparrowhawk prop)
