I do appreciate the Airmap and really questioned selling it, but I have high hopes for my PDA experiment.

Anyway, another really cool feature is that all user screens are programmable as to their content. I am afraid to admit that I didn't reset the one I just sold Carl, so he will see one or two screens that don't match the book. I went in and took what I felt were the best features and lumped them where I wanted them on one of the map screens.

It is also nice that you can look up airports not only by designator, but by city too (hopefully I am not confusing that with another program I have).

In any event, reverse routing was a very useful feature as is the auto start sequence which as long as you don't do manual zoom, will start wherever you left off and advance the map for you. I used it in this mode from 6S2 to CWI with 3 overnight stops on the way...each day, just turn it on and it would start where I left off as soon as reaching the pre-designed speed (can't remember the speed either).
