BTW, yesterday I found something new and really cool about the Airmap 100. This is probably something common with all GPS's, but I just discovered it myself. I was flying northbound back to my airport. GS was 124 KTS, the result of a pretty stiff wind out of the southwest. As I got within view of home, I could see the big black arrow on the GPS pointing to a place that was well left of the field. Slightly confusing at first, until I realized the GPS was compensating for the left quartering tailwind I was enjoying, and pointing me in a direction that would allow me to arrive over the field, wind correction and all.

I thought to myself, now THAT IS COOL. The more I use my Airmap 100, the more I love it.
