Thanks for the offer. If there's anyone who I would like to have fly that airplane home it would be you. I don't know where my inquiry about the Maine 150 will lead. I do know, however, that buying airplanes is stressful, and trying to do so at a distance of 1800 miles is doubly so!

This afternoon I look at a 152 right in my back yard! Only 20 miles down I-35. Even I can get that one home!

After 4 years, nearly 750 hours, and an instrument rating, I'll never see another "Ultimate XC" unfortunately.

I still enjoy what I call "Great Trips", but the wide-eyed wonder that Tom and I experienced back then is just a memory now.

Everything then was completely new. Now we know how to do it.
It's still fun, just different. Ya know? <sigh>
