Off the top of my head, I seem to remember that with a ferry permit, if something goes wrong on the flight the plane is grounded were it lands. I would think long and hard about flying someone elces plane to Texas from wester Wash. on a ferry permit. there are a lot of machanics who could do a quick annual here in washington.
