The quoted tail number is from a '64 'D' model, but the plane in the pictures is definitely not. Judging by the dorsal fin, doors and curve of the instrument panel, it looks to be a '67 through '70 model.

Now (apparently) correctly listed: ad now states "It is a 1966 Cessna 150"

Cute,, No bids at $3500 so he re-lists for $5000. Lets see if anyone bites.

It is still listed wrong. The doors only have two hinges and are bowed. Also the dash is notched. That did not start until the 67G model. That is a dynofocal O-320,360 engine mount. If he has the paper work for the conversion this just might be a deal. If it wasn't so darn far away I'd buy it to store next to my other project I'll probably never finish. I'm curious to know what his reserve might be.

Yeah, he's calling it a "1966 G Model". Most likely it's a "G" built in late '66, so it's really a '67 model as far as Cessna is concerned.

No reserve and starting at 5000$, like Michael say, if he has the paperwork for the conversion, this might be a very good deal, the conversion paperwork, engine mount and etc... alone cost 9000$
