Wayne,

I doubt paint would adhere to chrome very well but I know very little about plating. Maybe I could bead blast the chrome to prep for painting?

Anyone here in the peanut gallery know if blasting chrome is sufficient prep for painting or does the plating need to be removed so we're back down to the metal to make this work?

Boy, I've seen all kinds of ways to advertise chroming, this one takes the cake. See if in the first 20 seconds if you see any chrome at all,,

It took me about 3 minutes to find the chrome, but I finally found a little spot that had the plating on it. shocked

You CAN try bead blasting that chrome.

I'm not sure if it'll remove all the plating, but it is sure to get rid of what little denim remains there. smile
