Uh huh. There are other instances, but i won't bore ya.
Anyway, 999ED was just about perfect for your boy here.
Now, I have been told that the RV crowd might be interested in Mary Lou's number... 714RV. My UNLUCKY number i "7".
7+1+4+18+22=52. 5+2 = 7.
But, all is not lost.... Tack on the "n", and she becomes a "3'.... 66 = 6+6=12....1+2=3. Still.... inconsistant. If we have to count the "N", then we hafta do that on everything in the interest of consistancy. hmmmm...
HOWEVER:
Her serial number is 15079383. - - - 1+5+0+7+9+3+8+3=36.
3+6 = 9
She still loves me.
You have an unlucky number? WTF is that all about? You need to get out more and relax...
I know Mr. Wayne Huizenga paid an AWFUL lot for N737WH (for his BBJ) The Philly 76'rs have N76ER.
Wild Bill's tail number down here would be a bad thing and NO ONE would want it. Down here there is a company named 'World Jet' run by a notorious (convicted) drug smuggler and all around bad guy.
lol. Initially we were wanting N407 Juliett Whiskey. It just rolls off the tongue. But it was not available at the time. Or, we just got too much in a hurry. For it is available now. Sigh!
You know, its always amazed me that you guys up there continue to paint your rego numbers into the aircrafts paint scheme (i.e. they are part of the scheme itself) in the form of either stopping a stripe and leaving a gap, or widening a strip to take the numbers fit down the side of the fuse
Down here, the aircrafts paint scheme is usually quite a separate item from the rego number itself and how its presented and hence, if you want to change numbers, it's no big deal. Most these days are just vinyl stuck on lettering, just peel it off and apply another one in its place.

Hey, mine resembles that remark . Actually, I think with the requirement for 12" letters on newer planes, it's hard to find an open spot to paint the N-number by itself.

But look how many years it took the US manufactures to work that out!!! and yet people still "repaint" their aircraft with the numbers in the scheme

That was one of the reasons we went ahead and changed our N-number. All we needed to do is peel off the old and restick the new! With Bengie's supplied numbers it was easy to made it look all that much more professional!
