Good Morning Gentlemen,
I'm looking for a 150 on floats to puddle jump around Florida. Any ideas? I know that it was only the G,H and J models at were approved for floats, and don't know how many are out there, but the search has begun in earnest.......Thanks for any info/help.

There was a 150 float plane based at the lake where Jack Browns is located in Winter Garden, FL several years ago (2004?)....was purple and white and wasn't in much use, but nice new paint job. It might still be there.

Thanks Bill,
Yes, I saw the 150J without floats, but finding the floats and rigging seems to be the hard part. I actually made an offer in excess of the Retail Value on that one. So, I have decided to take the approach of finding a complete one in good shape, and modifying as necessary....I saw a very nice one a few years ago but wasn't ready to jump....now I'm ready and the hunt is part of the fun. Thanks, and keep your eyes out. Chevy

Thanks on this one too. My home/hangar (FD44) is near Jack Brown's so I'll give a call over there and see if they know of anything.....Cheers, Chevy

I have seen two 150's on floats at Lake Hood Seaplane Base in Anchorage. One has a leased slip and the other might have been transient. I'll drive by them on Tuesday to see if there might be a for sale sign on either. Winter is a good one to make an offer on a floatplane sitting on a frozen lake in Alaska.

Man, a float flight from Alaska to Florida would be an aviation experience of a lifetime. I'd ferry it for you for free ... I'd even pay my own expenses!

Terry wants to see his daughter again.

Sandy, by the time you get to Florida, you could get your seaplane rating, Terry is a great instructor.
