I am brand new to the club and am absorbing as much info as possible. My journey has officially begun to purchase a 150 or 152. I'm looking for a mid-time TTAF TTE 150/152 with decent radios, IFR (not mandatory, but would be nice). I am a cash buyer and live in Indianapolis, IN. Thanks in advance for any leads! Brian

Thanks Brenda! It's nice to be surrounded by like-minded aviation enthusiasts. I've had too many people try to steer me away from buying a 150/152, but it fits my mission profile and most importantly won't break the bank!

No it won't. And while the Bonanze drivers and Cessna 210 guys let their planes sit in their hangars because gas is (going to be) $6-7/gal...we'll still be flying. Even if 100LL goes away, we can burn car gas!

Welcome Brian. It is a good time to be a 150/152 buyer, there seems to be an awful lot of good deals around now. Good luck on your search!

Welcome Brian,

From what I have seen on Barnstormers, there should be plenty to choose from - good luck with the search...

If you wanted to spend a little more, Bill Warner has a really nice 152 up in the pacific northwest...beautiful plane indeed
