Thanks. I'll send him a note if some of the inspections I have lined up fall through.

I have only used Trade-A-Plane, Barnstormers and my local craigslist. TAP and craigslist have brought in the most interest. So far no obvious scams, but a lot of tire kickers not really interested in buying - just dreaming of owning a plane until financial reality hits. Still, there are a couple of pretty good prospects.

In the past I bought and sold exclusiverly with TAP and did well but my Mooney just got nowhere with TAP and I spent a lot on advertising. When I figured the hangar rent, insurance and annual expense because I kept the plane longer than I wanted to it easily covered the broker fee. I would have sold my plane a year earlier with a broker.
